If you would like to purchase a Privacy Pod or Zoom Booth for your library, please write a Business Case detailing your needs.  Ideally this would be done in conjunction with your budget for the year.   See LiRN’s Budget page for a template you can use.

You will need 2 quotes with a business case:  https://lirn.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Business-Case-Template-Current.pdf
If approved, the amount must be then included in your overall Grant/Budget request so Theresa knows the Total Grant Request for your association.
Some associations have also shared that the smaller ones are rather tiny and have opted for larger sized booths.  Also,  a helpful suggestion is a hanging basket from Dollarama (M Gerrits idea) to help hold the lawyer’s papers when inside since the counter-top is quite tiny.

Accessible for all Ontario Lawyers

If purchased for your library, it must be accessible for all lawyers including visiting lawyers and non-members of your association, and it should be situated in your library.  If the Privacy booth is situated in your Member’s Lounge then it is considered an Association purchase and your Association will need to provide the funding (not LiRN).
