Learn with LiRN Curriculum

Learn with LiRN Curriculum

LiRN develops an annual Curriculum of free professional development programs organized into 4 learning paths: Electronic Resource Training, Substantive Law, Library Skills, and Soft Skills.   Each session is held via Zoom and usually recorded and posted to our private Learn with LiRN YouTube channel, as well as any hand-outs provided.  They are posted to our Wiki depending upon their topic.    Although the recordings are usually available, we encourage you to attend in case you have any questions.   LiRN hosts a couple of sessions conducted by Telus/LifeWorks.

Telus LifeWorks Sessions

LiRN arranges a number of these sessions each year on a variety of personal health type topics.  Please REGISTER for any sessions that you would like to attend.  Once you register, Telus will send you a Meeting Link that you need to accept and ADD to your calendar.  It will contain the Zoom Link for the session.  LiRN does not create these sessions so we don’t know who registers or have the Zoom link.  Each session has customized handouts – please see below for the handouts.  They are not provided by the presenter that day.

Those sessions are not allowed to be recorded due to copyright reasons by the presenters so you must attend those sessions in person if you wish to benefit from them.

Registration Links and handouts are provided in the Learn with LiRN 2026 Curriculum (Revised) above.

Learn with LiRN YouTube Channel

LiRN records our monthly Curriculum sessions for Library staff to review after a session has occurred.  They are posted to our private Learn with LiRN YouTube channel.

Note:  Sessions that are provided by Telus Health are not recorded due to copyright reasons.

PD Learnings Roundtable

Our popular September Learn with LiRN session is a PD Learnings Roundtable.  It is a chance for everyone in the network to learn from any PD opportunities that their colleagues have attended.  It is an expectation since LiRN funds these PD opportunities that if you attend a conference, webinar, ETC. that you share with your colleagues who may not have been able to attend themselves.
