Guide to the e-LiRN Suite of Resources
LiRN’s home page includes a helpful table for lawyers to see at a glance what they can access at their local courthouse library as well as remotely. It also has links to detailed information about each e-LiRN resource for their information. This can be shared with your lawyers who may be looking for additional information.

Print Titles available on e-LiRN – Consolidated List
LiRN has assembled a useful resource for organizing and promoting the e-LiRN titles. The Consolidated List of Print Titles on e-LiRN has filters and tabs by publisher which we hope will make it easier for staff to label their collections or create attention-grabbing dummy books. Current as of Dec. 1, 2025.

Introduction to e-LiRN suite of resources
Pia Williams (WLA) & Betty Dykstra (YRLA) hosted an e-LiRN introductory session on LwL YouTube in 2022, and provided some great sample questions & answers to demonstrate how to use the new e-LiRN resources! Chat record from the recording. Some of their tips:
- Call a friend! Librarians are a collegial profession and often like to help each other out
- AccessCLE (LSO CPD), Halsbury’s, CED (great starting points for research questions)
- Quantums (e.g. employment, criminal sentences) – how much notice, severance?
- It’s OK not to be perfect and there is no such thing as a stupid question, it’s a question that needs help answering which applies to all of us at times
They also created a helpful e-LiRN Resource cheat sheet by Topic, Resources, Checklists, etc.

Static IPs
LiRN has asked all libraries to create static IPs for access to the e-LiRN suite of resources. Everyone provided their static IPs to LiRN in March 2022. Please contact LiRN if you need your static IP address. Please contact LiRN if you Static IP address has been changed. For example, if you get a new router, please find out the new Static IP and let us know to request new customized URLS for each e-LiRN vendor.
