Cataloguing Resources

The Great Library’s Library Systems and Technical Services Department provides cataloguing and processing services to county & district libraries for legal materials. All county catalogues are hosted on their catalogue, InfoLocate, as part of a union catalogue so people can consult one catalogue to see all county/district libraries collections in addition to the GL collection. See below for instructions on Searching InfoLocate.

Please consult their Cataloguing Resource page for detailed instructions on how to add new titles, remove old titles and more:

HeinOnline

You have access to thousands of US & Canadian law journals through the Great Library. When searching for a title, you will see a link to the journal, government publications, as well as textbooks that are provided to the LiRN libraries via the Great Library’s subscription to HeinOnline.

  • HeinOnline’s Core Content for Canada is a comprehensive digital library containing the full text of more than 3,000 scholarly journals, access to U.S. federal and state case law, thousands of classic legal treatises, and a wealth of government publications as well as the English Reports.
